A Few Words About Me

Kate Lehmann, MA LADC SAP

Lehmann Consulting, Inc.

821 Raymond Avenue - Suite 320

Saint Paul MN 55114

I'd like to share some information with you about my training and experience.  In addition to over fifteen years in  private practice work, I have provided on-call counseling services for Hazelden-Betty Ford Foundation's residential, outpatient and halfway house programs and for Pride Institute's residential and outpatient treatment programs.  I developed and provided special topical groups on personal finances in early recovery and employment related concerns for Hazelden's St. Paul programs.  In addition to counseling, I have over 40 years of experience working with family owned firms, small businesses and non-profit organizations, including a lengthy career in production for film and television.  I'm licensed as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor and am a Substance Abuse Professional, qualified to provide services for Department of Transportation issues.

I like working with people from all backgrounds and circumstances and truly enjoy seeing each person re-discover what makes them unique and makes life fulfilling.

I earned a BA in Religion from Smith College, an MA in Organizational Leadership from St. Catherine University, and received my MA in Addiction Counseling with honors from Hazelden's Graduate School of Addiction Studies.

I enjoy making contributions to my community and have served on several non-profit boards of directors, and am currently President of the Smith College Club of MN

I love to spend time outdoors and enjoy the company of my family, friends and pets.  Theater, music and good books are my chosen entertainments and my love of travel and adventure has taken me many places around the world.
